What You’ll Do
Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review and final verification
Accurately dispense medications using manual and automated systems
Manage inventory and resolve out-of-stock situations promptly
Use pharmacy software to track orders and update patient records
Collaborate closely with pharmacists and patient care specialists
Maintain full HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
Stay on your feet during an active 8-hour shift in a fast-paced environment
Participate in cross-training for additional pharmacy functions
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Required)
Computer proficiency and comfort using pharmacy software (Required)
NY Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)
Ability to commute to Syosset, NY 11791 prior to starting (Required)
