Position Overview
Neuhaus Foot & Ankle is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing team in our new, state-of-the-art Smyrna facility. This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow a specialized physical therapy program focused on lower extremity rehabilitation, biomechanics, and post-operative recovery. The therapist will work closely with our physicians and medical assistants to design and implement personalized treatment plans that address both acute and chronic foot and ankle conditions.
This position is ideal for a motivated clinician looking to be part of an innovative program that will expand across multiple Neuhaus Foot & Ankle locations in the coming years.Role will start 3 days a week with potential for increased hours if desired.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with a range of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and post-surgical conditions affecting the foot and ankle.
Develop individualized care plans that emphasize mobility, balance, gait, and strength.
Collaborate with podiatrists, surgeons, and other team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and proper biomechanics.
Document all evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and timely.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards of practice.
Participate in ongoing program development, including protocol design and expansion planning as NFA’s physical therapy program grows.
Qualifications
Active Tennessee Physical Therapy license in good standing, or willing to obtain a TN license.
Previous experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or podiatry-related care preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a desire to contribute to a growing multidisciplinary team.
