Job Description

LEADING REHAB CENTER - ST. LOUIS, MO

ABOUT THIS ROLE: 

If you are a Physical Therapist that thrives in an energetic environment while connecting with patients and families, this job is for you! You will be working with a wide range of patients in acute care rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist will deliver movement and activities to improve physical function of the patient through programs, treatment programs, education, and evaluation. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create and establish patient treatment plan. Implement full plan through discharge, including equipment and supplies.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment. Make recommendations for referrals/specialists. 
  • Assign tasks to techs as needed. Must have high level of communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Provide assessment and consultation for Physical Therapy Services

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
  • Current State License 
  • CPR Certified (or obtain within 6 mos)

OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT) 
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to move/lift patients, equipment, reach around objects
  • Desire to work with patients 1:1
  • 1-2 years experience as PT or similar

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • $60,000 - $110,000 Based on experience and qualifications
