$10,000 Sign on Bonus
Schedule:
- Mon: 9:30am-6:30pm, lunch 1:30-2:30pm
- Tues: 7am-4pm, lunch 12-1pm
- Wed: 9:30am-6:30pm, lunch 1:30-2:30pm
- Thurs: 7am-4pm, lunch 12-1pm
- Fri: 7am-1pm, no lunch
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Evaluation:
Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, movement patterns, and mobility limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses, medical history, and personal goals.
Treatment Planning & Implementation:
Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programs focusing on physical strength, mobility, flexibility, and pain management.
Use various techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound), and other interventions to improve patients' function.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and ergonomics to prevent future injuries.
Instruct patients on home exercises and self-care routines to promote recovery.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and modifications.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, etc.) to ensure comprehensive care.
Communicate with referring physicians to report patient progress or challenges.
Monitoring Progress:
Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress toward recovery goals, adjusting the treatment plan when necessary.
Assess pain levels and patient responses to treatment.
Discharge Planning:
Determine when patients are ready for discharge or when treatment can be adjusted to a maintenance phase.
Provide patients with strategies to maintain and further their progress after therapy ends.
Compensation: $85,000-$104,000
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from accredited program; successful completion of clinical internship. Master's degree in physical therapy preferred.
Experience: New Grads and Experienced welcome.
Other Requirements: Current state physical therapist license. Current CPR certificate. Any required CEU's for license renewal
