Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Type: PRN / As Needed
Shift: Flexible
Salary Range: $40 - $45/ an hour (Based on experience, with final offer reflecting the candidate's demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and professional background.)

What You’ll Do
- Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting evaluations and assessments of residents’ physical abilities and limitations
- Implement therapeutic interventions—such as exercises, modalities, and manual techniques—as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide guidance and instruction to residents on proper exercise techniques, safe mobility practices, and use of assistive devices
- Monitor residents’ progress, reporting observations to the Physical Therapist for treatment plan adjustments
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of resident care in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, resident-centered service
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment in proper working condition
- Maintain an average “Patient Care Time” (productivity) of greater than 90%
- Perform other duties as assigned to support quality care delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing (or compact state equivalent)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to follow treatment plans with precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, resident-first approach
- Proficiency with electronic health records and therapy documentation
