Job Description:
Patient Treatment: Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist, following established protocols.
Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board requirements.
Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the therapy department and the cleanliness of the treatment area.
Patient Care Participation: Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and care plans.
Training: Assist nursing staff with training for Restorative Aides and instruct patients' families on caregiver training and maintenance programs.
Equipment Upkeep: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure everything is maintained in good working order.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively and positively with patients, families, staff, and professional colleagues.
Required License or Certification:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
