  • Weekends Acute Care- Part time and PRN*

Compensation: $35-$45/hr

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. The PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and assist in restoring optimal mobility and function.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in developing treatment plans for patients
  • Help patients perform exercises and stretches as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
  • Administer therapeutic techniques such as massages and electrical stimulation
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercises
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment
