Post Closing Specialist - Recording

Location:

In Office- This role requires all job responsibilities to be performed in the office, Monday- Friday. Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the Irvine, California office.

About the Role:

As an Escrow Support Specialist on the SOU Recording team, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to the post-closing process. Your responsibilities will include reviewing the executed lender and escrow documents received for closing disbursement to ensure they align with the information on the settlement statement and other details in ResWare and submitting documents to the county for recording. Attention to detail and effective communication with closers at OS National are essential for this role.

What You'll Do:

• Reviewing and determining the accuracy of all files
• Scanning physical documents into Resware
• Submitting closing documents to the county for recording
• Sending executed closing documents to lender
• Sending recorded documents to the client and the lender
• Participating in learning and development activities to expand knowledge base
• Supporting the OSN Markets as applicable
• This resource must be in office in CA and the work cannot be absorbed by another office.
• Other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Flexibility to shift focus throughout the day depending on market priorities
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite products
• Customer and client focus
• Attention to detail
• Organized and able to multitask
• Good problem-solving skills

Bonus Points if:

• BA/BS from an accredited institution 
• Experience working in a high-touch customer service environment
• Experience in the closing/legal industry, reviewing a variety of real estate documents

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $20.38 - $28.03/hr. Pay within this range depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range for the job location during the hiring process.
