Location: Lucedale, MS
Primary Care Medical Office / Full-Time / On-Site

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality primary care in outpatient settings. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions while fostering meaningful, long-term patient relationships. You will serve as a cornerstone of our care team, collaborating with clinical staff to uphold and advance the quality of care our patients expect and deserve.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population
- Perform routine and annual wellness exams, acute illness evaluations, and chronic disease management
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, including preventive care and risk assessment
- Develop and implement patient-focused treatment and care plans
- Ensure accurate, thorough documentation within the medical record system
- Coordinate care with specialists, diagnostic facilities, and other healthcare partners
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to strengthen clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Uphold clinical standards and compliance with applicable medical and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in Mississippi
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in primary care or outpatient medicine
- Strong knowledge of current clinical best practices and standards of care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative team members
- DEA registration and up-to-date credentials required
