The Opportunity 

We’re seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll be the hands-on technical expert driving reliability, scalability, and performance across our distributed systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and wants to make a direct impact on AI-powered healthcare delivery.  

Responsibilities 

  • Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.  

  • Design and implement containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).  

  • Build and manage infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Terraform or ARM templates.  

  • Implement structured logging, metrics, and alerting for observability and troubleshooting.  

  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to align infrastructure with product needs.  

  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and resilience. 

  • Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews for infrastructure-related issues.  

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards.  

  • Drive automation across the infrastructure stack to eliminate toil and accelerate deployments.  

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, secure code delivery.  

  • Contribute to cloud cost forecasting and optimization strategies.  

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our platform.  

Qualifications 

  • Located in the Seattle Metro Region and able to work hybrid onsite at our Bellevue office. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  

  • 5 – 8 + years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related role 

  • Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, including networking and security.  

  • Experience with Databricks, data lakes, and high-throughput data architectures is a plus.  

  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.  

  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and virtualization.  

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).  

  • Knowledge of system security practices, identity/access management, and data encryption. 

  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPPA, SOC 2).  

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Arcihitect Expert are a plus.  

  • Healthcare experience, especially with RCM systems, is highly desirable.  

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.  

  • Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to engineering excellence. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Base Salary Range: $155,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
