Job Description
Process Engineer
Polyram USA, LLC is looking for an innovative and results-driven Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for the optimization of production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring product quality standards are met throughout manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor processes to enhance production efficiency.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support production to meet company goals.
- Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Design and implement process control systems and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Conduct trials of new materials and processes to evaluate feasibility and performance.
- Lead engineering projects with emphasis on design of experiment, (DOE) implementation and conclusions.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Train operators and technical staff on new processes and innovations.
- Customer support both remote and at the customer facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Hands on willingness to work in production environment.
- Ability to work non-conventional hours (if needed).
- Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
