Your Opportunity:
As a Procurement Specialist II for Greenheck Group you will Strategically manage complex procurement processes, optimize costs, and ensure the organization's procurement activities contribute to its overall success and competitiveness in the market. Work closely with stakeholders on key initiatives and identify and develop alternate sources of supply for key parts and materials.
What you'll be doing:
Provide general purchasing support (place PO's, follow up with suppliers, communicate to business units) to support production requirements and risk mitigation.
Lead in the negotiation of suppliers/categories assigned to the Buyer desk. This includes pricing, packaging/shipping, identifying potential suppliers, contract terms, quality, and all other aspects of the procurement program.
Meet with suppliers and lead negotiations for favorable pricing and build long-term partnerships. Including accountability for acknowledging daily purchase order confirmations from suppliers and proactively sharing any discrepancies with the appropriate teams.
Lead the coordination between production scheduling, sales and engineering departments to obtain information, resolve problems and identify purchasing requirements for new or redesigned products or special projects.
Lead in the identification and development of alternate sources of supply for key parts and materials.
Lead the identification and collaboration activities across the company to support new developments in material, equipment and techniques with other departments and delegating initiatives to team and key stakeholders.
Support all levels of the organization as it relates to their involvement in the procurement of goods through the supply chain. These groups include, but are not limited to material specialists, engineering, accounting, buying/planning, sales and operations.
Handle complex technical/strategic issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Manage supplier quality processes and ensure compliance with product specifications.
Hold vendors accountable for meeting specifications and maintain consistent product quality through ongoing performance oversight.
What you should have:
6-8 years of relevant work experience in procurement/buying required.
4 Year / bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with an understanding of ERP/SAP system processes.
Previous coil commodity buying experience within HVAC industrial field is a plus.
A few things you should know:
Minimum travel is required.
Will work on-site in Tulsa, OK.

The starting base pay range for this position is $74,985 - $92,629 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
