Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Analysis Specialist, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive recommendations and feature definitions that address complex market opportunities, customer needs, and business goals.

  • Lead requirements‑gathering efforts across multiple stakeholder groups; independently document advanced functional, system, and data requirements.

  • Conduct detailed product system impact analyses, outlining cross‑application dependencies and long‑term implications.

  • Lead the creation of detailed, high‑quality functional and technical specifications for highly complex products or system enhancements.

  • Review specifications developed by others and provide expert guidance to elevate requirement quality.

  • Partner with development and QA teams to define unit and integration test cases and support end‑to‑end testing strategy.

  • Analyze unit, integration, and user acceptance testing results, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

  • Provide strategic direction for product enhancements and drive prioritization discussions with stakeholders.

  • Act as a senior liaison between internal and external partners, ensuring alignment on requirements, scope, and expectations.

  • Collaborate with technical writers to ensure documentation is comprehensive, clear, and meets internal and external standards.

  • Perform advanced analysis to reconcile conflicting information, break down complex problems, and distinguish defects from enhancement requests.

  • Identify training needs and lead the development and delivery of advanced training programs for internal teams and customers.

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to less experienced analysts; may oversee onboarding and skill development.

  • Identify, propose, and help implement continuous improvement efforts for Product Management and business analysis processes.

  • Lead project workstreams, facilitate cross‑functional meetings, customer webinars, and focus groups.

  • Oversee release preparation deliverables including release notes, bulletins, and change‑related communication.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business analysis or relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in complex software or product environments.
  • Financial industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business analysis tools.
  • Expert‑level technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, capable of developing solutions to complex and ambiguous business challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of junior analysts.
  • Advanced facilitation skills, including the ability to lead workshops, drive consensus, and manage challenging stakeholder conversations.
  • Proven ability to work independently, handle multiple large‑scale projects, and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and lead discussions across technical and non‑technical groups.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with proven success in guiding teams to meet project goals.
  • Expert knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced experience defining system and functional requirements for complex systems or enterprise‑level applications.
  • Ability to analyze long‑term product strategy implications and contribute to roadmap planning.
