The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Product and Services Quality Managers to join the 737 Field Quality Team to lead Paint Teams in Seattle and Renton, Washington.
In this role you will champion world-class paint and finish operations, ensuring every aircraft exterior meets rigorous safety, regulatory, and customer standards while driving continuous improvement across processes and teams. You’ll lead, mentor, and empower skilled technicians and inspectors, working side-by-side with production, engineering, and safety partners to solve complex technical challenges and deliver exceptional finishes on schedule.

Position Responsibilities:
- Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
- Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
- Provide education, coaching and review of Quality Management System.
- Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships and communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of QMS (Quality Management System) experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a production environment
- Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate
- Experience using Systematic Problem Solving
- Lean or Continuous improvement experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with the Material Review Board (MRB) Process
- Experience with Paint Operations
- Experience in Flightline Production Environment
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and teaming skills
- Bachelor's degree
Shift:
- Candidate may be selected for 1st or 2nd shift. Shift will be determined at the time of offer.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $115,600 - $156,400
