The core responsibilities of this role include:Working in a return center handling medical items, reviewing products of various sizes with care, following customer regulations, use of mutliple customer software systems for documenting and uploading photos and information.
Position: Product Inspector
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Pay: $21.75
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhatten and SAP.
- Ability to follow all customer regulaions and adaptive to process changes.
- Attention to detail and highly proficient computer skills required.
- Must be able to use tools such as drills, screw drivers, prying bars, hammers, etc. to open crates.
- Heavy lifting (up to 150 lbs with team lift.)

Product Inspector
Role Purpose / Position Summary
Responsible for the accurate inspection of inbound product and determine product viability based on indicators found during the inspection process. Inspectors are responsible for recording all finding in multiple computer and web based programs that allow a detailed history of the parts to be tracked and cataloged through the life span of the product.
Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Research using multiple computer and web based programs concurrently to find needed information to aid with parts being inspected
- Visually and physically inspect the parts looking for defects
- Enter data in multiple screens to ensure that all defects found are documented and tracked properly
- Using tools such as power drills, screw drivers, hammers, etc.. to open products, crates to inspect the product properly
- Using and testing ESD equipment to prevent the electro-static discharge from damaging the product being inspected
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written. This position requires communication with the customer both verbal and written to help resolve issues found timely
- Safely and effectively operate material handling equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Perform additional duties as assigned
