Location: Vandalia, OH, USA
Travel: 30% depending on business needs, in USA, some travel to Europe and China will be required

As our next Product Manager- Warehouse Automation, you will play a critical role in driving the Warehouse Automation Business Unit's growth by developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy. Acting as the CEO of their business, the Product Manager is responsible for the P&L of the business unit, making strategic decisions that drive sustainable growth and create value. This position is designed for visionaries with an entrepreneurial spirit who can identify market needs and transform them into innovative products. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders is vital, as is a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs. You'll be instrumental in navigating the complexities of market expansion, product launch, and lifecycle management. What You'll Be Doing:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Set the Business Unit's long-term goals and objectives, ensuring that product development initiatives align with the overall company's strategy.
- Revenue Generation: Responsible for meeting revenue and profitability targets globally, with the support of the Sales Team or Sales Representatives.
- Product Development: Lead the internal development of innovative products by working closely with our engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Drive the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and market needs.
- Industry Partnerships: Proactively establish and maintain partnerships with other companies, vendors, or organizations to strengthen industry connections and enhance brand recognition.
- Identifying Opportunities: Responsible for researching and identifying potential business opportunities, markets, and clients. This involves staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Market Expansion: Expand into new geographic regions, targeting different customer segments, or introducing new products to untapped markets.
- Customer Relationship Management: The Product Manager works to understand client needs, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction through product offerings.
- Risk Management: This includes conducting due diligence on potential product strategies, assessing market risks, and making informed decisions to minimize potential negative impacts.
What We're Looking For:
- Engineering degree coupled ideally with a business degree
- 3 to 10 years of experience in a Product Management role with proven ability to grow business with new products or solutions and lead end-to end product lifecycle, concept design, prototyping, testing and production line deployment.
- Warehouse/Industrial Automation experience is a must and only those with this recent experience will be considered
- Hands-on experience with material handling equipment (conveyors, sorters, AMRs, AGVs, AS/RS
- Exposure to intralogistics, material handling or automation vendors
- Proven ability to manage products that combine physical automation systems and software controls with an understanding of PLC Basics, commissioning and system start up processes.
- Customer facing experience gathering the voice of customer and translating operation needs into product requirements. Ability to present concepts and collaborate with clients during design and validation phases.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities and planning accordingly to ensure long-term success
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience with automation technologies, industrial systems, or logistics solutions.
