Job Description
WHAT IS BOX?
Box is the world’s leader in Intelligent Content Management. We are trusted by more than 115K organizations around the world today, including nearly 70% of the Fortune 500 and leaders across deeply regulated industries to protect their data, fuel collaboration, and power critical workflows with secure, enterprise AI.
By joining Box, you will have the unique opportunity to continue driving our platform forward. Content powers how we work. It’s the billions of files and information flowing across teams, departments, and key business processes every single day: contracts, invoices, employee records, financials, product specs, marketing assets, and more. Our mission is to bring intelligence to the world of content management and empower our customers to completely transform workflows across their organizations. With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift.
Founded in 2005, Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, and we have offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
At Box, our powerful products come together to solve customers’ most critical content challenges. Today, leading life sciences organizations—spanning pharma, biotech, and medical devices—trust Box to protect sensitive research and patient data, streamline complex cross-functional collaboration, and power compliant workflows with secure, enterprise AI. As life sciences teams accelerate discovery and bring therapies to market, they need a content platform that’s secure, compliant, and built for global scale.
We’re hiring a world-class B2B Product Marketing Manager with subject matter expertise in life sciences. You’ll own the full spectrum of product marketing, from industry positioning and messaging to content development and integrated go-to-market planning, to transform how life sciences organizations manage regulated content across the R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial lifecycle. This role reports to the Head of Solutions Marketing and partners closely with product, sales, marketing, business development, and customer success.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build and own Box’s life sciences industry narrative, positioning, and messaging tied to key workflows (R&D collaboration, clinical operations, regulatory submissions, quality management, commercialization) and compliance frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, etc.).
Develop and execute integrated GTM strategies for life sciences, partnering with campaign, field, and partner marketing to drive pipeline creation and acceleration.
Create high-impact content for external channels (web, blogs, thought leadership, e-books, webinars, events) and for revenue teams (pitch decks, battlecards, ROI calculators, outbound plays, call scripts).
Deliver ongoing enablement to sales and customer success on life sciences use cases, buyer personas (IT, R&D, Clinical Ops, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Security), competitive dynamics, and objection handling.
Partner with product and technical PMMs to align roadmap and messaging to life sciences needs, including GxP validation, audit readiness, data residency, e-signature, AI guardrails, and integrations.
Act as a thought leader and spokesperson: join customer meetings, analyst briefings, conferences, and speaking opportunities to elevate Box’s presence in life sciences.
Collaborate with strategic accounts and partners to develop case studies, reference stories, and co-marketing that showcase measurable business outcomes.
Use AI-first workflows to analyze market signals, refine ICPs and personas, test messaging, and accelerate content creation and competitive research.
WHO YOU ARE
4+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with significant experience in life sciences segments such as pharma, biotech, medical devices, or CROs.
Strong understanding of regulated content workflows and compliance requirements (e.g., GxP/Part 11/Annex 11, HIPAA, data privacy) and how they impact R&D, clinical, regulatory, and quality processes.
A dynamic storyteller with a point of view on the intersection of AI and life sciences, and proven experience developing industry messaging, GTM strategies, and enablement that win executive buy-in.
Deep familiarity with enterprise buying cycles, multi-stakeholder sales, and the needs of life sciences IT and line-of-business buyers; able to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver executive-ready narratives and presentations; strong public speaking skills and comfort representing Box externally.
Proven cross-functional leader and player-coach who influences without authority and drives initiatives across product, sales, CS, and marketing.
AI-first mindset with a bias for action; comfortable operating in fast-moving environments and using AI tools to 10x research, insights, and content velocity.
Bonus: Experience with adjacent ecosystems and with partners serving clinical, regulatory, or quality domains.
