Job Description
Academic HealthPlans is currently seeking a self-motivated Product Success Specialist to join our Operations and Client Experience team. We’re looking for an individual who will serve as the subject matter expert on our proprietary platform, Care26. This is a highly visible, client-facing role for someone who is passionate about translating technical knowledge into clear, actionable insights for both internal teams andexternal clients.
You will become the go-to expert on C26 — mastering its capabilities, creating client-focused documentation, delivering product demonstrations, and guiding users to achieve maximum value through best practices and tailored solutions. A heavy focus will also be on creating product training materials, presentation decks, etc. Projects may also be assigned by the AHPCare Steering Committee to assist with continued rollout of the Care26 product and ensure success for our clients. The successful candidate will be motivated, well-organized, and a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
This position may have access to sensitive information such as PII and/or PHI. As such, all AHP employees sign and adhere to AHP’s Information Security Handbook covering information security policies and procedures.
AHP’s offices are based in Grapevine, Texas (West of DFW Airport). AHP has adopted a hybrid working approach for Teams to work in office with 2 days of remote after the first 90 days.
Your Impact
Product Expertise:
- Develop deep knowledge of the C26 platform, including features, integrations, use cases, and limitations.
- Stay up-to-date with product enhancements and upcoming releases.
- Develop deep understanding of the student health industry and how the product serves our clients.
Client-Facing Engagement:
- Lead live product demonstrations for prospective and existing clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their unique needs and advise on how best to implement C26 to achieve their goals.
- Provide high-level support in collaboration with the customer success and technical teams.
Enablement & Documentation:
- Develop training and presentation materials for clients, potential clients and internal resources. Product is being enhanced on a continuous schedule, so will require ongoing updates.
- Provide training materials and product training to sales, back office personnel and clients.
- Create and maintain client-facing documentation, including user guides, onboarding materials, and best practice playbooks.
- Develop internal training resources to support sales, client success, and support teams.
Best Practice Advisory:
- Guide clients in aligning their processes with the capabilities of C26 using our proven methodologies. Help troubleshoot complex scenarios and advise on how to adapt the product to fit specialized use cases.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with project team members and internal business partners
- Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as requested
- Ensure all assigned projects, tasks, and activities are delivered on time and within budget
- Attend and/or lead meetings with clients and external partners
- Prepare data and presentations for leadership or client reporting, when needed
- Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
- May require minimal travel to visit clients or potential clients for presentations, less than 20% during sales season
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
Successful Candidate Will Have
- 5+ years of experience in product enablement, product training role, technical sales, or a related role.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced
- A natural presenter and educator with experience in product demos, training, or consulting environment.
- Strong problem solver with ability to present best practices/solutions
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams including product, sales, and support.
- Familiarity with documentation tools.
- Strong presentation skills, as well as use of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and SharePoint a plus
- Exhibit good listening and comprehension, express ideas and thoughts in written and verbal form, and keep others adequately informed.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills -- ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience at working both independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
