Job Description
- Perform duties in a manner that fosters safety for the operator and all employees.
- Extensive functional and operational knowledge of the following areas:
- Change out filters in receivers and hoppers throughout the facility as needed (bulk/pellets, fluff, wood, etc.)
- Clear raw material piping when lines become plugged and or inoperable.
- Perform designated preventative maintenance tasks per the daily/weekly schedule.
- Cleaning/organizational tasks (roof of building, outside lot, inside rafters, lines, etc.) as designated.
- Paint equipment and structures throughout the facility.
- Lawn maintenance (seasonal)
- Must become certified in operation of forklifts, man-lifts, and sweeper.
- Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces as position requires climbing utility ladders on silos and hoppers as well as using man lifts. Work also includes changing out filters in confined spaces in hoppers and silos.
- Report broken Equipment
- Code of conduct on the radio.
- Work well in a team environment with the desire to learn and clearly communicate with shift supervisor, team leaders, quality personnel, and maintenance.
