Job Description

Freese and Nichols is seeking a Program Controls Analyst to join our Program Management team. This position can sit in our Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio or Houston offices. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning and execution of programs by coordinating tasks, resources, and stakeholders. Monitor program progress and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Provide support to senior program managers.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of projects, carrying out specified project activities within defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology.
  • Ensure a positive experience for clients by having courteous interactions with them and doing quality work on projects.
  • Make client connections at appropriate level (Zipper). Have a basic understanding of the FNI Sales structure
  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
  • Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and support in generating new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
  • Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues. This includes being responsible for developing or operating basic elements of the data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes.
  • Draft elements of project review reports and presentations to support delivery of the review process.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management and/or related field experience
  • 5+ years of professional Scheduler or Project Controls experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented

Preferred

  • Experience in PowerBI
