Job Description
Performs a variety of administrative functions for the Radiation Oncology Department, Cyberknife and Proton Therapy programs. This Coordinator facilitates timely access to the programs in the Radiation Oncology Department for new and returning patients. This includes Conventional, Brachy Therapy, Cyberknife and Proton Therapy patients and families and patients scheduling appointments with Oncology providers. This role interfaces with referral sources, patients, and families. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations of Tampa General Hospital's philosophy, policies procedures and standards.
HS/Diploma or GED required.
AA Degree is preferred and Degree in Biology or related health care field is a plus.
Two years of comparable administrative experience required.
Previous experience as an administrative assistant preferred.
Consideration will be given to an appropriate combination of education/training and experience.
