Program Support TechnicianROLEWe need an experienced Program Support Technician at The Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC). The Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC) is the U.S. Navy’s hub for measuring radiation exposure among servicemembers operating nuclear-powered vessels. As the center of excellence for radiation protection, NDC provides global dosimetry processing, consultation, and exposure tracking to ensure the health and readiness of Navy and Marine Corps personnel. In this role, you will help keep programs running smoothly by supporting policy implementation, reviewing procedures, analyzing data, and recommending improvements. You’ll collaborate across teams, maintain documentation, track performance metrics, and contribute to strategic goals that enhance operational effectiveness and mission alignment. - Collaborates with health science specialists, analysts, and other personnel to review, update, and organize documentation on procedures, guidelines, and operational processes related to program administration.
- Assesses new and existing program objectives, proposing improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Implements updated procedures and systems for monitoring program components, auditing resources, and maintaining accurate data management systems.
- Supports projects by reviewing, implementing, and maintaining guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Contributes to coordinating and executing policy objectives, mission goals, and directives.
- Analyzes program data, tracking performance trends and assisting in the generation of reports to support decision-making processes and investigations.
- Generates and maintains reports on program-related data (e.g., health surveillance data, force readiness statistics) to ensure timely dissemination of information across various organizational and external channels.
- Reviews clinical and administrative requirements for data analysis, presenting recommendations to supervisors for potential changes or enhancements.
- Follows established quality assurance guidelines to monitor automated systems and conduct routine quality assessment tasks.
- Develops and implements strategies for improving program compliance and operational processes, focusing on both current and future objectives.
- Prepares comprehensive written and oral reports, participating in discussions with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational initiatives and communicate policy changes.
- Maintains respectful and professional communication channels to address inquiries and complaints related to organizational operations or service provisions.
- Provides general administrative support to ensure efficient operation and alignment with the organization’s mission and vision.
- Assists in exploring improvement options for programs and systems, supporting broader organizational goals.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods sufficient to interpret and present data received from the Department of Defense (DoD), commercial sources, and medical treatment facilities.
- Experience in data organization and filing of records with specific security and threat education protocols.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs (Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of healthcare professionals and private sector contractors
- Strong skills to critically review, independently edit, format, and synthesize various types of input (verbal, notes, emails, drafts) into a cohesive document or correspondence in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual, Official Navy Message Traffic, and other formats policies, including military-technical documents such as point papers, policies, and messages.

- Associate degree required or higher required.
- At least one year of experience in providing programmatic support in healthcare systems to maintain accurate records
- Experience with the military or consulting in a DoD environment

- U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Secret Security Clearance Required
