As a Project Controller, you are financially responsible for the Automation Solutions capital business in USA as part of our NA controlling team, ensuring compliance to accounting rule and principles, ensuring accuracy of project and cost center financials, providing insightful analysis to project managers and local management team in the Capital Business, and driving financial improvement to achieve project and region goals. Our goal is to have 95% accuracy in estimations.
Specific areas of responsibility can include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibility to validate project reporting tool inputs
- Responsible for controlling project financials including e.g., projects recognitions and actual costs, project estimates correct and approved timely manner, project risk, and opportunities portfolio
- Supporting and challenging project managers in the project financial follow up and cost control, budget, estimate, and other financial aspects of the project
- Provide proactive and corrective action proposals to meet the operative targets
- Supports project management in project-related issues (e.g., currencies, taxational issues, forecasting etc.)
- Managing Capital business cost centers to ensure that estimates are updated on a regular basis
- Involved in Capital bookings, working with Sales managers to ensure Salesforce funnels and data high quality.
- Developing and providing reports and dashboards to assist managers in controlling the business
- Provide financial training to all levels of management.
Expectations
The candidate must have a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree field. In addition, the candidate must possess strong communications skills, IT skills, work independently, with the ability to travel up to 10%
