Job Description
Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry is seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our contract with a government customer in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will provide Program and Financial Management (PM&FM) analysis and technical support to our customer and team. We value logical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to offer clarity, organization, and leadership to assist both the customer and our team.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
- Assist project and Integrated Planning Team (IPT) leadership in developing task books and implementing contract strategies, while tracking and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with the Business Financial Manager (BFM) to create financial reports and monitor spending against task book constraints.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design project plans, track progress, and identify areas for enhancement.
- Regularly generate management status reports covering deliverables, schedules, finances, and risks, as specified by the project team.
- Facilitate the risk management program, overseeing project risks, issues, and opportunities that impact financial, logistical, programmatic, and engineering activities.
- Provide comprehensive support in planning, execution, monitoring, and control management, including schedule and cost control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Offer technical writing support for programmatic documentation.
- Foster a culture of mutual support within Team Spry across our Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) efforts, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration to better serve our customers and each other
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Five (5) years of experience supporting project management initiatives
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Risk Exchange+, SharePoint, Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Teams
- Experience working with NIWC Atlantic or DoD environment
- Education - Bachelors degree in business or technical field
- Exposure to PMBOK and/or Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or other frameworks)
