Job Description

Dalia Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for Mechanical systems to lead our client's projects. Our client is a growing and well established Mechanical contractor firm that strives in a collaborative environment and had a people focused culture. This role is pivotal for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, set timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets. You will be responsible for driving project success by maintaining excellent communication with all parties, identifying potential risks, and implementing solutions proactively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management relating to mechanical systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with project management tools and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor progress and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation for all phases of the project.
