Primary Job Title: Project Manager - QA, Data Conversion and Reconciliation Alternate / Related Job Titles: • IT Project Manager • Data Conversion Project Manager • QA Project Manager • Investment Management Project Manager Location & Onsite Flexibility: Edmonton, AB — Remote Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: ~4.5 months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: C$70 – C$110/hr Job Summary The Project Manager will support the QA, Data Conversion, and Reconciliation stream for a large-scale business transformation within the Investment Management sector. This role leads quality assurance testing, data conversion, and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, hands-on QA and data conversion experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced transformation environment. Experience with Aladdin and/or SimCorp is considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities The Project Manager will lead and manage QA testing activities for the data conversion stream, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Responsibilities include providing hands-on support to data conversion and reconciliation teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve data and QA issues, and supporting the QA program through high-quality execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. This role governs key gating activities, including entry and exit criteria and strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making. The Project Manager will create, manage, and track QA and data conversion issues and risks using RAID logs, monitor progress against project timelines, and provide subject matter expertise in data mapping, validation, and reconciliation. The role also supports the implementation of best practices for data management and quality assurance.
