Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking an Project Safety Manager to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry in our Austin, TX. This position will be for a industrial manufacturing client estimated project length of one year with possible extension.
Job Description:
Following duties and/or responsibilities will be the daily focus of this position.
- Support all Firetrol Project Operations teams (Contracts, Services, Inspection) with job-specific safety requirements
- Conduct meetings with site safety and quality control inspectors to ensure project safety needs and requirements are met.
- Perform field investigations, in cooperation with Corporate Safety Leadership, of any accident or incident loss
- Conduct in-person training/corrective mentoring to staff in the field
- Identify safety trends, both positive and negative, to help refine our total safety program
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
