Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in the ongoing development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of the assigned MSN track.
Oversee and participate in track and course revisions.
Revise assigned courses to reflect program outcomes, ACEN standards and criteria, AACN Essentials, state board of nursing minimum standards, and current evidence-based practice.
Participate in the development of academic policies affecting the admission, progression, graduation, and dismissal of students
Oversee the clinical experience within the track including preceptors, clinical sites, and student placements along with the Clinical Coordinator
Participate in the evaluation and ongoing enhancement of the curricula.
Apply evidence from best education practices to curriculum development and to teaching.
Serve the School of Nursing, Campbellsville University, community, and profession by:
a. Participating in School of Nursing faculty, standing committee, and other meetings.
b. Participating in community and professional activities as appropriate.
c. Participating in scholarly projects as appropriate.
Collaborate effectively with other faculty and staff members both within the School of Nursing and throughout the University and community to develop inter-professional academic, clinical, and research opportunities.
Oversee the KBN, ACEN accreditation, and NTF requirements as applicable for the MSN track.
Participate in professional development activities related to one's faculty role
Participate in graduation ceremonies and other select campus activities that may require travel to the main campus.
Can work remotely with the expectation of 3 days per work week with virtual office hours.
Monitors, interprets, and reports achievement data including but not limited to EPSLO achievement, on-time completion, success in national certification if applicable, job placement, and student satisfaction
Work with the MSN Program Coordinator, Dean, and faculty to develop the annual budget for the program.
Provide input in annual evaluations for the track faculty.
Additional responsibilities beyond the 20% dedicated to the Track Coordinator role may include but are not limited to:
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses as assigned. (See job description for MSN Online Faculty)
Supervise MSN students in the clinical setting as assigned.
Conduct clinical site visits as assigned.
Oversee student placements, clinical sites, and preceptors including required documentation.
Maintain other administrative responsibilities within the School of Nursing.
Participate in Special Projects based on the needs of the School of Nursing.
Participate in SON and institutional committees as assigned.
