Our team is committed to excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship.Position Overview: The QA/QC Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining project-specific quality assurance and control programs to ensure all construction activities meet internal quality standards, client specifications, code requirements, and regulatory obligations. This role will coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to manage inspections, testing, documentation, and overall quality performance throughout all phases of oil and gas construction projects.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-construction quality meetings, establish benchmarks, and ensure alignment on quality expectations with clients and subcontractors.
- Perform in-progress inspections and coordinate hold points and testing activities per client, code, and company requirements.
- Lead field audits and surveillance activities for civil, mechanical, structural, and pipeline scopes.
- Review and approve welding procedures, NDE results, material submittals, and test reports.
- Ensure welders are properly qualified and maintain compliance with applicable codes.
- Maintain and organize documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions, quality records, and turnover packages.
- Interface with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and regulatory agencies to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.
- Supervise QA/QC inspectors and technicians; provide leadership and mentorship to field personnel.
- Support commissioning efforts and ensure proper QA/QC documentation is in place for final handover.
- Monitor quality KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all QA/QC activities adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas or heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, welding practices, coatings, and NDE methods.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with inspection codes.
- Experience leading QA/QC teams on large-scale construction projects.
