Title: QA Tech 1
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports to: QA Manager
Salary: $20.82
QA Tech 1 – AM Shift
- The primary role of the QA Tech is to assist in the implementation and monitoring of all on-line quality control activities, with a primary focus on monitoring the on-line production processes to ensure specification, customer, and regulatory requirements are met.
- This position must assimilate a basic understanding of several different functions and serve as Cross-functional Support for other Quality Team activities including stepping in to cover for vacations, sick leave, and other absences on any shift.
- The QA tech must exhibit accuracy and precision in assigned duties as this is crucial to meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
- Required: Must be able to speak, read & write English; must be able to speak & understand Spanish
- Must have some food related experience
- Must be able to work day & swing shifts
- Must have basic math skills & basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must adhere to all HACCP and Food Safety policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and must comply with all policies regarding Employee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Any additional tasks assigned
