Job Description

Our customers include leaders in aerospace, electronics, medical devices, military/defense, and commercial. We are currently seeking a Quality Technician our Winter Park, FL location.

Summary
The Quality Technician will perform inspections on incoming products, ensuring that they meet defined requirements. Experience using variable and non-variable measuring equipment to qualify product acceptability. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards by collaborating with suppliers, internal teams and customers to facilitate customer product submissions for approval.
Essential Functions• Conduct thorough inspection and assessment of products to ensure they meet Quality inspection plans• Document inspections results in accordance with Endries and customer requirements• Enter non-conforming material reports for resolution• Coordinate the preparation and submission of product submissions to customers in accordance with customer requirements and/or industry standards• Review supplier-provided documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with customer specifications, and industry / regulatory standards• Assist with suspect product containments and sorting activities as required• Maintain the gage calibration system and coordinate outside calibration services with suppliers• Maintain accurate and organized quality records• All other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities• Experience with measuring and test equipment• Product knowledge• Blueprint reading• Familiarity with technical specifications and quality principles• Strong Computer Skills• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Problem-solving ability• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Required Education and Experience• Certified Quality Technician or applicable years of experience• Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) are a plus
Work EnvironmentThis job involves a mix of hands-on work in a warehouse or laboratory setting. This role uses calibrated measuring devices supporting precision and accuracy of results. The office portion of the role involves use of computers, software and customer portals.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly at their desk, however, standing, walking, bending and lifting may be required. Depending upon the role, annual eye exams are also required.TravelSome travel may be expected for training purposes.
