Quality Auditor

Your Role
- To perform the inspection activities as defined in Control Plans and Inspection Instructions related to parts and assemblies produced in Tennessee
- Dimensional and visual inspection of components and materials, first/last piece inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies, in-process auditing of ongoing production, inspection of Secondary operations, and Final Inspection prior to shipment. Perform basic pre-control charting when applicable
- Ability to perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies, capability studies, and record data in GagePack, Infinity or Microsoft Excel
- Read control plans, work orders, test manuals, blue prints and product specifications to determine product quality requirements
- Inspections and tests of in-process product / process conformance
- Dock audits of finished goods prior to shipping
- Perform gauge calibration
- Perform inspection, documentation, and response to non-conforming conditions per the requirements of the control plan
Your Skills
- High School Diploma/ General Education Degree (GED), Two year degree preferred
- Excellent math and reading skills
- Good Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, required; PowerPoint preferred)
- Excellent attendance and work habits
- Ability to work independently and make consistent decisions
