Founded in 1974, Serioplast operates with a total of 33 production plants in 16 different countries.WHY US?International, Dynamic, Flexible, Engaged, and Result Oriented are words used to describe our Teams!WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?The Quality Control Lead position is to ensure the quality and hygiene of the final product and implementation, management, and compliance with the company’s integrated system of standards and procedures.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Communicates and coordinates with the Quality Control team to ensure the quality and hygiene of the final product.
- Ensure smooth integration and communication with other functions.
- Performs controls according to the quality control plan for each product and during technical interventions and product industrializations using lab instruments (scale, caliper, thickness gauge, top load tester, torque meter, etc.).
- Sorts defective bottles, contributes to decisions on discarding or keeping batches and provides support in the evaluation of quality problems.
- Checks incoming material against quality specifications and verifies documentation compliance.
- Fills in and supervises the correct completion and archive of quality documents to ensure accuracy as per company standards.
- Performs calibrations and cleaning of measuring instruments in production or in the Lab.
- Optimizes the quality instrument programming the CMM machine.
- Promotes 5S principles and ensures their application.
- Participates in internal and external quality audits.
- Good knowledge of statistical process control and statistical analysis
- Good knowledge of ISO standards
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
- Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or in the occupational health and safety field
- A minimum of 3 years experience in safety in manufacturing companies, preferably in the FMCG sector
