Introduction:

We are seeking a Quotation and Order Management Specialist to join our Quote and Order Delivery team. You will be responsible for all aspects of customer service to both external and internal clientele. Responsible for daily customer service activities such as answer inbound customer calls and emails, quoting, order entry, order management, and first-line technical and customer support. In this position, you will report to Michelle Roman, Manager for this role.

This position is mainly located in Columbia, (SC) but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You will join a team of quotation management experts dedicated to providing unique and alternate solutions for customers while collaborating with Sourcing & Technical Parts Support.

What you'll do:

  • Answers customer calls as a member of the Pump Parts Inside Sales Team.
  • Prepares quotes and enters orders in SAP for customers received via phone, fax, and email.
  • Understands and provides first-line technical information to customers utilizing equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, blueprints, electronic databases & card files.
  • Works with Technical Parts Support and Pricing to add new or update existing materials in SAP, tracking, and following to completion.
  • Consults with sales teams, purchasing groups, design team, sourcing, logistics.
  • Initiates, tracks, and follows up on quote requests, and lead time requests.
  • Provides a direct contact link for sales and external customers.
  • Reviews and prepares responses to inquiries from Customers for the Mining Services market, pump parts products within the CSR's allocated territory, and cover other CSR's workload during peak activity and/or absence.
  • Follows up quotations for parts on a prompt, efficient, consistent basis, monitor performance compared to KPI's. Provide information to sales on won/lost, etc.

Who you are:

  • Associate's degree in technical field or business. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in customer service or related experience or technical knowledge/experience in the industry with product familiarity.
  • Ability to understand equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, & blueprints.
  • Bilingual preferred, to support multiple markets.
  • Understanding of product terminology and part numbers; continual learning about basic technical aspects of products preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, basic Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), SAP, email, and the Internet.
