What You'll Do:

Radiology Technologist responsibilities in a correctional atmosphere play a vital role in delivering diagnostic imaging services to inmates. Their responsibilities include:

• Providing diagnostic imaging services: Radiology Technologists use portable X-ray machines and other equipment to perform imaging procedures for detainees.
• Adhering to safety protocols: Will adhere to safety protocols to prevent incidents such as projectile injuries during scans.
• Radiation safety: Technologists must adhere to radiation safety standards and utilize heavy, radiation-resistant lead shields to protect both themselves and their patients.
• Performing various imaging procedures: They perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans, routine diagnostic x-rays, and portable x-rays.

These responsibilities are crucial for providing effective treatment and ensuring patient safety in a correctional setting.

What We're Looking For:

• Florida CRT licensed.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship available).

Schedule:

• Type: Full-time or part-time.
• Hours: Days, nights, and day/night rotation. Prefer a Panama schedule.
