Job Description
Position Summary
The Radiology Workflow Coordinator supports daily workflow and scheduling optimization by monitoring imaging queues, managing radiologist coverage, and facilitating timely interpretation of reports. This role serves as a central point of contact for reading room communications, helping connect radiologists with staff, providers, and patients as needed. Additional responsibilities include administrative support, coordination of imaging protocols, and contributing to operational improvements across the department.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare with strong IT and computer skills. Medical terminology and radiology workflow experience preferred.
Skills
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Exhibits excellent time management and prioritization skills, along with strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail. Effectively collaborates with colleagues and cross-functional teams in a professional environment.
