Ram Up Operator

Position Summary:

The Ram Up Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the ram-up process to ensure molds are properly prepared for production. This role is critical to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on the 2nd shift,

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate ram-up equipment to prepare molds according to specifications.
• Monitor the process for quality, consistency, and safety.
• Inspect molds to ensure proper formation and adherence to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Document production activities and report any issues or defects.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a foundry, casting, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours consistently.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a foundry environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

• PPE required in accordance with company safety standards.
• Physically demanding, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
