Job Description
CarterWill Search is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join an AmLaw firm's Real Estate Practice in Dallas or Salt Lake City. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate and financing transactions across diverse property types, including mixed-use developments, office buildings, multi-family projects, retail, hotels, and resorts.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of real estate experience, with a strong foundation in commercial real estate transactions and finance. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and development-related contracts, while collaborating closely with partners and clients.
This position offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with clients, and contribute to complex transactions in a supportive, collegial environment.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Active bar admission in Texas or Utah (or ability to obtain)
Excellent writing, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
Demonstrated work ethic, creativity, and intellectual curiosity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated associate seeking to broaden their experience in a dynamic, collaborative real estate practice. The expected salary range is $260,000–$350,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
