Position Overview

As a Real Estate Associate, you will work closely with a top-tier team handling acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and more. If you are a driven attorney adept at managing complex deals and crafting sophisticated transactional documents, this is a standout opportunity to advance your career in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist with acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, including due diligence and deal structuring.
  • Advise on and coordinate real estate joint ventures and development matters.
  • Handle mortgage and mezzanine financing, including drafting and negotiating loan documents.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional instruments such as purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing documents.
  • Manage multiple concurrent deals with a high degree of organization and minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, support staff, and clients to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Requirements
  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with a strong record of academic achievement.
  • 2–6 years of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional experience only (Class of 2019–2023).
  • Prior experience at a large law firm or respected boutique firm.
  • Must hold a CA State Bar License
  • Minimum of litigation/courtroom experience (foreclosure or Bankruptcy experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated strength in drafting, negotiating, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative work style and solid professional work ethic.
