Position Overview
As a Real Estate Associate, you will work closely with a top-tier team handling acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and more. Responsibilities
- Lead or assist with acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, including due diligence and deal structuring.
- Advise on and coordinate real estate joint ventures and development matters.
- Handle mortgage and mezzanine financing, including drafting and negotiating loan documents.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional instruments such as purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing documents.
- Manage multiple concurrent deals with a high degree of organization and minimal supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, support staff, and clients to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- J.D. from a top-tier law school with a strong record of academic achievement.
- 2–6 years of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional experience only (Class of 2019–2023).
- Prior experience at a large law firm or respected boutique firm.
- Must hold a CA State Bar License
- Minimum of litigation/courtroom experience (foreclosure or Bankruptcy experience a plus)
- Demonstrated strength in drafting, negotiating, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
