Job Summary

This position is located within our Bureau of Recreation, Division of Youth and Adult Sports. This position is located within our Bureau of Recreation, Division of Youth and Adult Sports. The attendant greets visitors upon arrival to the facility. The attendant will also ensure that participants are remaining safe. The attendant may answer participant questions related to the facility.

Essential Functions

  • Welcomes and engages all visitors
  • Guides guests through activities to ensure a great
  • Walks around keeping an eye on all activity to ensure smooth transitions between groups
  • Anticipates the needs of participants and makes contact with the appropriate staff for resolution Manage number of participants entering to ensure capacity control
  • May act as a floater throughout the facility

Background Check

Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint screening, and must be successfully completed.

Probation

All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a 6-month mandatory probation.
