Job Description

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their job and wants to make Elim a better place to work. As a Receptionist, you'll be required to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, and direct them in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Support student arrival, dismissal, and transportation dispatch needs as assigned.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls; take and relay accurate messages as needed.
- Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and ensure adherence to security and safety protocols.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and shipments via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
- Coordinate bulk copy and lamination requests; monitor and maintain supplies for copiers, printers, and the laminator.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate service calls or repairs, as necessary.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the reception and mail areas.
- Assist with general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and preparing correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the School Office Manager and other departments as assigned.
- Support a positive image of the organization through professional communication and presentation.
- Monitor and order general office supplies, such as paper, printer toner, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, etc.
- Generate purchase orders for vendor invoices related to supplies, postage, and equipment leases.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm52 weeks per year
Wages: $21.00 - $22.50/hr

Education, Licenses & Certifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 + years of related office or receptionist experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Planner, Teams, SharePoint
