Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Reconstruction Estimator with a strong background in sales and estimating to join our team. This role is crucial in driving business by building client relationships, preparing accurate estimates for residential and commercial reconstruction projects, and transitioning jobs to our project management team for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with clients and assess property damage or reconstruction needs
Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects using Xactimate or similar estimating software
Develop strong relationships with homeowners, adjusters, and insurance reps to facilitate project approvals
Present estimates and sell reconstruction services to clients in a clear and professional manner
Collaborate with the internal construction team to align scopes and timelines
Hand off awarded projects to the project manager, ensuring a smooth transition with complete documentation
Follow up on outstanding estimates and assist in closing opportunities
Maintain detailed records of client communications, estimates, and job statuses in CRM/project management systems
Stay informed on local construction codes, insurance guidelines, and industry best practices

Qualifications:

Proven experience in estimating for restoration or construction projects
Strong sales or client-facing background – must be comfortable presenting and closing
Proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, or equivalent estimating software
Knowledge of insurance claims processes and documentation (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
