- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, Procurement Directors) in State IT and large University systems to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on legislative trends, compliance requirements (e.g., CJIS, FERPA), and public procurement processes, using this knowledge to guide strategy and sales execution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 8+ years of experience in Public Sector sales leadership, with a strong focus on the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies, driving significant ARR growth across multiple states or large territories.
- Demonstrated success in leading a team of enterprise and major account executives focused on SLED sales.
- In-depth knowledge of SLED procurement processes, including familiarity with cooperative purchasing vehicles (like NASPO, GSA, or state contracts) and the annual budget cycle.
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and their applicability within public-facing and educational environments (e.g., securing student data, public services infrastructure).
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the public sector.
