Regional Human Resources Manager - Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, exempt level position. Relocation assistance is available.
The Regional Human Resources (HR) Manager leads HR strategy and execution across multiple locations in our Oilseeds business unit. Overseeing a team of area/plant HR Managers, this role drives results in engagement, workforce planning, performance, talent development, succession, diversity, and change leadership. Through strong partnerships, proactive problem-solving, and timely action, the Regional HR Manager fosters a culture where people perform at their best and the business achieves its full potential.

- Strategic Business Partner: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, guiding leaders on talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Talent Management Expertise: Experience in designing and executing strategies for recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee development.
- Influential Leadership: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all levels, effectively communicating HR initiatives and driving change.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: History of working effectively across functions and geographies, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data and metrics to inform HR strategies and decisions.
- Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations in the US, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
- Change Management: Experience leading change initiatives, anticipating challenges, and implementing solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Commitment to learning and applying industry best practices in HR.
What You Need To Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
6+ years of progressive HR experience, including:
At least 4 years as an HR generalist across multiple disciplines (e.g., workforce planning, talent acquisition, career development)
Leadership experience with or without direct reports
Experience in cross-functional environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Professional in Human Resources)
- 2 years' experience working in multiple locations with remote teams
- 1 year in leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibility
- 3 years' experience managing a cross-functional team with exempt and non-exempt staff in union and non-union capacities
- Experience developing, adapting, and/or facilitating training
- Experience actively serving as a strategic business partner for other parts of the organization
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse line of business
Work Environment:
- Flexible schedule to meet facility needs, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends as required
- Work in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments with associated physical conditions
- Domestic travel (day and overnight) approximately 50% of the time
