Role Overview:
The Procurement function is responsible for the provision of leading edge procurement services aligned to business strategy and requirements, aiming to enhance value and productivity across the supplier value-chain through effective, efficient and agile processes delivered by a strategic, commercial and risk focussed function.'
The function plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation achieves value (i.e. performance, financial, enhanced risk, etc.) from its global supplier landscape. As such Procurement is accountable for the implementation and management of strategic procurement driving value through effective supplier relationship management, demand & consumption management, MI & BI analytics, third party risk management and the like.

Role Responsibilities:
Support the Global Procurement Leads with development and implementation of 3 year rolling Category Sourcing Strategies covering Technology and Non-Technology services,
Define and agree regional category plans that deliver ongoing commercial value in terms of cost, performance and risk in accordance with the overall procurement strategy aligned to the business objectives and strategies
Build strong relationships with regional business stakeholders, business management and finance as well ask third party suppliers
Provide market insights to the broader procurement team including key stakeholders, senior management and the procurement sourcing office
Manage and execute regional sourcing process including pipeline management, competitive tenders and benchmarking to identify best supplier option and commercial, contractual, performance and service delivery stipulations are embedded and aligned to business requirements.
Ensure that all regional contracts have been abstracted and added to the contract repository and contract meta data is kept up-to-date throughout the contract lifecycle.
Workload management and where applicable assign regional contract sourcing projects ( Sourcing Management Team and manage successfully delivery thereof through active management of assigned sourcing managers to the projects.
Actively participate in the procurement strategic initiatives including transformation, continuous improvement and innovation programmes
Manage and lead complex and high value contract (>£250k p.a.) negotiations with suppliers in region
Participate and manage appropriate Governance forums and develop supporting metrics & reporting in conjunction with the Procurement Efficiency Office.
Collaborate and support the commercial contract management activities with the management of the category panels and preferred supplier lists, performance and commercial issues during the post-deal contract period.
Provide support to the Procurement Efficiency Office with supplier onboarding queries, Third Party Risk management activities and process issues, as well as offboarding of suppliers upon contract termination for regional suppliers.
Liaise with business / service owners to drive spend through preferred suppliers or existing framework agreements
Support and actively participate Category Management in major sourcing projects impacting multiple Business functions / stakeholders supporting the broader TP ICAP business strategy.
Commercial Contract Management - commercial contract management of assigned suppliers to ensure compliance with all contractual stipulations to ensure that TP ICAP is protected against any value leakage commercial, performance driven and / or regulatory.
Procurement support activities - general support to broader procurement organisation.
Support business analytics and MI team with development of MI reports, contract analysis and the like
Support Procurement Efficiency Office with abstraction of new contracts and ensure key meta data is captured and stored in central contract depository
Support Procurement Buyers team with PO / PR queries and escalations
Identify opportunities to improve systems towards target state and prioritisation to positively influence successful outcomes.
Communication and Leadership
Create & issue reports on procurement & outsourcing arrangements, including board and committee updates as required
Deliver effective updates to key business stakeholders throughout the procurement process
Change, Risk and Issue Management
Identify and escalate risks as appropriate
Identify tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the procurement process
Experience / Competences:
Essential
Degree preferred or equivalent experience in a supply chain or procurement environment
Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
Purchase order process and invoice approval management
Experience of a contracts management platforms (Service Now, Ariba, etc.)
Technical knowledge in an area relevant to procurement such as Contract management, Contract Negotiations (MCIPS or equivalent) and / or Third-Party Risk management
Desired
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
