Job Description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Regional Visual Manager is responsible for maintaining supervision over the Visual Display team at multiple locations. Oversee the visual display team, conduct evaluations, reprimands, commendations, and separation paperwork for the department. The manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity. Ensure that the image and style of the company is protected at all times. Responsible for maintaining a friendly and professional environment by acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable while abiding by all safety guidelines. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

  • The Regional Visual Manager is in charge of the hiring process
  • Personnel training and motivation: set improvement goals for training and one on one face to face encouragement
  • Checks hours on time and attendance for all Visual Display employees each week
  • Perform evaluations and disciplinary actions when needed use excellent customer relations
  • Ensure that their crew is at work and ready to work enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Overall design of locations in the OKC metro area, Tulsa and Arkansas
  • Conduct evaluations, reprimands, commendations, and separations for the visual display team
  • Collaborate with other District Managers
  • Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion
  • Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations
  • Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories
  • Maintain and coordinate the design of all current and future stores to ensure all designs are consistent among each store
  • Any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.; valid driver’s license required with no more than 2 traffic violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; 2 – 3 years of visual merchandising experience preferred; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
