Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Scrub Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH's patient-focused setting.

SUMMARY:

The Scrub Nurse serves as an integral part of the Surgery Department, utilizing the nursing process to identify patient needs, systematically plan and implement a plan of care and continually evaluate the outcomes of that care. RN provides and coordinates quality care for patients of all ages in the operating room, along with physicians, ancillary departments, and co-workers. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in utilizing the computer system to perform nursing responsibilities.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree or above in nursing. Six months RN experience required to work in the Operating Room. Previous experience as a scrub nurse is preferred.

CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE:

Current Iowa RN license. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or achievement according to hospital Education Policy.
