RN - Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility (Substance Abuse Withdrawal Management) FT/PT/PRN Positions Available
Job Overview We are seeking Night Shift Registered Nurses for our brand new 17 bed inpatient behavioral health facility specializing in substance abuse withdrawal management. We have multiple night shift positions. RNs will report to the Director of Nursing and will work alongside an interdisciplinary team including psych providers, medical providers, counselors, and behavioral health specialists.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and medical history.
Assist with development and implementation of personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Monitor patients' progress and recommend adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Administer medications and provide education on their effects and side effects.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including observations and interventions.
Assist with case management activities to coordinate care across various services.
Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Report on patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending necessary changes
Support the application of a Quality Program that utilizes empirically supported data.
Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Valid nursing license (RN or BSN)
In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and medical terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in documentation review and quality improvement processes
Previous experience working with patients with psychiatric and substance abuse diagnoses
Ability to effectively manage shifts while ensuring quality patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-Time, PRN, Night Shifts
Pay: Hourly, depending on experience
Work setting: Inpatient
Ability to Relocate: Pinetop, AZ (White Mountains area): Relocate before starting work
