Job Description
Assignment Details
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, varying start times between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekends / Holidays: Weekdays only, no weekend call (EOW/Holiday coverage as needed)
Type: Travel contract
Facility note: Absolutely no license or background hits accepted
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in Critical Care or Emergency Department
Preferred: Prior travel experience
Cath Lab Holding experience highly valued
Skills Needed:
Pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac procedures, such as:
Coronary angioplasty
Stent placement
IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
Impella support
Electrophysiology studies and device implants
Proficiency in managing cardiac drips and medications
Critical care competency for cardiac patients
Licenses & Certifications
Required:
BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association only)
Compact or Virginia RN License – must be in hand (no pending or temporary)
EPIC proficiency – required, no exceptions
