General Information: Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - New Lisbon, WI Schedules Available: Part-time 2 37.5 hours per pay period; Day Shift Part-time 2, 15 hours per pay period; PM Shift Part-time 1, 52.5 hours per pay period; PM Shift Part-time 1, 60 hours per pay period; PM Shift Full-time 75 hours per pay period; PM Shift Full-time 75 hours per pay period; Mixed Day & PM Shift (Days Weekend) Weekend rotation: Every other weekend Holiday rotation: Every other holiday Additional information: Up to a $7,500 sign on bonus for full-time hires Position Summary: The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare. Position Responsibilities: Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition Complete all applicable resident assessments Complete medication administration while following the 5 Rights Perform wound care and assessments as needed Assist CNAs with answering call lights Monitor residents for changes in condition Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed Report any allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting Perform other duties as requested. Position Requirements: Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred. Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license. Current CPR/BLS certification required. 1+ years of related work experience preferred. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Intermediate proficiency with computers is required Comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment such as retinal scanners, EKG, etc. Thorough understanding of triage. Understanding of lab procedures and equipment. Strong quantitative and analytical competency. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with co-workers, patients, and supervisors is essential. LOCATION DESCRIPTION With a population of 1,800, New Lisbon, "The Friendly City", provides a small town feel while being surrounded by unique recreational and cultural experiences. Located on the Lemonweir River and in close distance to Wisconsin's second and fourth largest lakes, Petenwell and Castle Rock Lake, our community finds you surrounded by natural wonder, wildlife and a rich variety of outdoor recreation.
